Miss America

April 20, 2009

This year’s Miss America is a blonde haired, blue eyed female from North Carolina. Not a problem. She’s pretty and seems to have a functional brain. Miss California definitely thinks with their feelings and not necessarily with an open-mind.

The loaded question about same-sex marriage was uncalled for but I was entertained by the reactions. Seriously, what makes this homophobic beauty queen so frightening? NOTHING! The sheltered bitch was raised with a bible in her room-get over it. Just be glad that the world is changing and there are other intelligent voters to help progression. Let miss sunshine be the naive homophobic live her “nightmare”. Afterall, she only has her passion for Christ, conservative family, and out dated belief system to save her.

Just because she’s paranoid and scared in the real world, that doesn’t mean you have to live a miserable life.

I changed my academic plans from pre-nursing to computer science. I admit, computer science is not much easier than pre-nursing. Before taking my first ISC course, I perceived computer science to be the study of computers in a holistic approach physically. Technician, geek squad, troubleshooting systems in a business setting, etc. were concepts that I believed were “computer science”. Oh my goodness, I’m baffled. I rather do patient assessments and charting, instead of programming in various computer languages…….

anyways, I hired a programmer. What a sweet way to spend money. JUST FOR THIS SEMESTER. Afterwards, I’ll decide whether or not to continue on this path.

I could wash dishes at work all day if I wanted to but I love tips. So customer service is key. Duh.. I recently celebrated my 21st bday with family and relatives but I’m still serving food to ingrates at work. Can’t wait until graduation.

happy new year! i bet u started your new year better than i did.

to say the least, im excited for this year. like many americans (perhaps other countries), i have a resolutions list. my girlfriend is not into the resolutions tradition but hey, i’m sort of into it.

  1. I recently got a new part-time job in the beginning of December. My resolution: actually keep this job longer than previous employments. I won’t go overboard, but I’ll keep this job at least for a year. who knows, i might keep it longer.
  2. earn more b’s and a’s in college.
  3. stick with a major
